  Mr Chana is an excellent surgeon. I saw him in December 2014 for a lateral ankle ligament reconstruction. I was very nervous about the whole process but as soon as I saw him for my first consultation he put me at my ease with his confident manner and carefully explained the procedure to me as I was a bit dazed about having to have the operation. Although he did not have much time to talk to me immediately before the operation, he was very friendly and helped calm my nerves. He came to talk to me after I'd come round from the anaesthetic and was cracking jokes about how bad my injury had been which as a rugby player I actually appreciated because it meant I could impress my team mates who hadn't quite believed I was really injured! His aftercare was excellent and the option to have an open appointment for 6 months was great for me. 10/10 would see him again (though hopefully won't have to)
